The Walking Dead bosses stun fans by solving 10 unanswered questions – and promise Michonne’s exit will cause tears
NORMALLY AMC show bosses remain tight-lipped about upcoming story lines on The Walking Dead.
However, producers answered a whopping ten questions put to them by fans on social media during their latest Twitter session, offering up a clearer picture of what to expect in the second half of season 10.
So far, teaser clips have shown Darly (Normanus Reedus) escape from Alpha’s (Samantha Morton) underground trap.
Other moments include Rosita and Eugene embarking on a romance, baby Coco being abducted and an Alexandrian rising from the dead.
However, the latest string of answers from the show’s official account cover the all-important matter of characters entering and exiting the saga.
The only catch? All the replies consist of emojis only, meaning a certain amount of decryption is required.
The first questions tackled actress Danai Gurira’s upcoming departure: “Is Michonne’s exit gonna make me cry more happy tears or sad tears?”
The response was both a crying emoji and a smiling one, hinting that the moment would be bittersweet.
Perhaps this means she isn’t going to die after all, but rather will leave the allied communities for a new life.
Second came the matter of Lauren Cohan’s hotly-anticipated return: “Maggie's return will be great?”

The account replied 100%, suggesting the current hype is well founded.
The same response came when fans asked if they could expect to see more of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), adding weight to the theory he will pay a pivotal role in the downfall of Alpha.
In the Robert Kirkman comics upon which the show is based, Negan ends up beheading Alpha after winning over her trust, so there’s a good chance the same event could unfold on screen.
When bosses were questioned specifically about the scenes between the pair, they responded with the mind-blown symbol, suggesting there will indeed be a killer twist.
Then when grilled about whether Negan would rise to a position of power, the response was a thinking emoji, hinting that his road to redemption will be a complex one.
Perhaps most menacing though, when asked if fans will riot in reaction to the midseason premiere, the reply was the ‘see no evil’ monkey.
The dialogue with show bosses comes after fans took to Reddit to call out an awkward wardrobe malfunction.
The Walking Dead will air on FOX in the UK on February 24 and be available to stream on NOW TV.
