Jack Whitehall teases ‘moment of madness’ ahead of 40th Brit Awards
JACK Whitehall has teased a “moment of madness” ahead of this month’s 40th Brit Awards.
The comedian, 31, is hosting the prestigious ceremony from London’s O2 Arena on February 18 for the third time.
In these new pictures, Jack can be seen proudly holding on to the coveted gong which is up for grabs.
This year’s bash marks the fortieth anniversary of the annual celebration and Jack said he was going all out to make sure the evening goes off with a bang.
Jack said: “The Brits are incredible - the choreography, the big names, the celebrity guests, the epic speeches...everyone’s there.”
“No matter how much I try to tell myself to behave, I always end up putting my foot in it at the last minute.
“So I’m sure there will be a moment of madness.
“I will be trying to crowbar any performance I can into the show.
“I just need to get those elbows a bit sharper so I can really put myself front and centre.”
Big name stars including Lewis Capaldi, Harry Styles, Stormzy, Mabel and Billie Eilish are performing at this year’s ceremony.

When asked how Brits bosses would be marking the anniversary, Jack said: “The show will be very different this year…
“The rumours I’ve heard are very exciting – it’s shaping up to be a great show.
“And there are nods to it being a big anniversary as well, which I think people will enjoy.”
The ceremony will air on ITV, with Alice Levine and Clara Amfo returning to host the red carpet show over on ITV2.
