Coronation Street’s Gary’s killer secret will be exposed as victim Rick Neelan’s daughter Kelly returns for revenge

Coronation Street's Gary Windass thought he'd got away with killing loan shark Rick Neelan - but his secret could be exposed as Rick's daughter Kelly is making a return to Wetherfield.

Actress Millie Gibson is back on the Corrie set and has been filming all this week and insiders tell us she'll be back on screen in early March.

Millie posted a tweet yesterday back on set in the soap's famous cafe, excited to be back on the famous soap.

The teenager is back to seek revenge on Gary Windass after he murdered loan shark Rick Neelan - then covered up the killing.

Sources say Corrie bosses are thrilled to have Millie back on set and promise that the storyline involving her character Kelly and Gary will be huge.

"Millie really impressed bosses when she appeared last year, so she's back. The storyline will be huge - Gary's web of lies will unravel when she comes back to the cobbles and tries to find out what happened to her dad. She'll be out for revenge if she finds out what Gary did to Rick."

When Kelly appeared on the Street last year, it was explained she was unaware of her father'as work as a loan shark and their relationship was a difficult one after he split from her mum.

Rick still kept in contact with his daughter and picked her up from school every other Friday.

After he failed to pick Kelly up from school in June 2019, she arrived on the street and went to her dad's office where she found Gary, wanting to know where he was.

To save his own skin Gary pretended to be a client of her father's, when the reality was that he had killed Rick over a week before in self-defence.

Gary killed Rick back in June 2019, after the two engaged in a brawl in the woods, which saw loan shark Rick try to kill the builder.

It all began when Gary agreed to meet Rick in the woods after he claimed he had kidnapped his then-girlfriend Sarah Platt.

Gary arrived in the woods to find a grave had been dug, and discovered it was a grave Rick planned to put him in.

Rick lamped Gary around the head with the spade and had him pinned down, before Gary was able to reach for a rock and hit loan shark Rick in the head which proved to be his undoing.

He then buried Rick's body in the woods.
