DANCING On Ice’s Caprice Bourret called her ex-skating partner Hamish Gaman a "slave-driver" weeks before dumping him.

The 48-year-old former model gushed about getting the perfect partner before their relationship spectacularly crumbled.

The real reason behind their shock split has not yet been revealed by Caprice, Hamish or ITV.

But in the second episode of Dancing on Ice, Caprice almost broke down in tears of happiness when she was matched up with Hamish.

She told the camera: "I definitely wanted Hamish. There was only one person and it was Hamish and I got him.

After getting straight to work on the ice, Hamish made a joke about their future on the show as he bossed Caprice around.

He told a reluctant Caprice to keep her arms up in the air to build strength on the ice.

She shouted: "You're like a slave-driver!" before Hamish joked: "Now you're like, I really don't want Hamish now."

Caprice added: "He is such a perfectionist."

Model Caprice became the first celebrity in the ITV show's history to dump her professional skating partner Hamish Gaman because he was "pushing her too hard".

The pair's "catastrophic" row saw them pull out of last Sunday night's live show with no explanation.

Days later she met up with her new dance partner Oscar Peter who Caprice has described as "amazing".

Following her fallout with Hamish, a source told The Sun: “Caprice’s relationship with Hamish was harmonious at the start but as time went on they became more strained.

“She felt he was pushing her too hard in training and Caprice started to struggle.

“She felt he could have been more patient and they ended up having a big row.

“In the end it became completely unworkable for them to carry on and after speaking with the bosses they called it quits. It was getting toxic so stopping the partnership was best for everyone.”

Hamish has not left the show and will continue as part of group performances each week.
