‘Teen Mom 2’ star Jenelle Evans blames a legal quirk for why she hasn’t divorced David Eason yet
TEEN MOM 2 star Jenelle Evans just reiterated that she's NOT back with David Eason after she was spotted wearing her wedding ring.
The talked about her current relationship status with her and explained why she hasn't filed for divorce yet in a YouTube video uploaded last night.

Jenelle uploaded a video where she answered some questions her fans had asked her on Instagram and of course, the topic of her estranged husband came up a couple of times.
First, she talked about whether or not she was back with David, a rumor fueled by her .
She responded: "I’m just co-parenting. I’m just trying to stay out of court, trying to keep things civil between all parties and I just want to do my own thing.
"I’m single now and I need to venture out. I need to think about my future, my kids and what I’m going to do in life. And I don’t need any distractions at all. I noticed that guys can be a big distraction.”

She also explained why she hasn't filed for divorce from David, something a lot of her fans have wondered after she announced that she had asked David for divorce in October 2019.
She said: "In the state of North Carolina, you first have to be separated for a complete year to even file for divorce.
"In the state of Tennessee, you have to live there for six months to be a resident and you also have to be separated for six months in order to file for divorce. So that’s why I haven’t filed yet."
Jenelle is currently living near Nashville, Tennessee, while David is living in North Carolina.

She also opened up about why she and David were with their daughter Ensley.
Jenelle said in the video: "I was in Downtown Nashville, taking pictures with my photographer, and David was in town for the court date.
“He asked to see Ensley and while I was taking pictures, he was seeing Ensley and we had lunch and then he went home. That’s it."

The Sun had previously reported that the two had gotten together so for the first time since Jenelle ran off with the kids to Tennessee.
A source told The Sun: “Her family and friends had no idea.”
“Everyone is shocked and horrified over this.”

As for David, a second insider told The Sun his family was aware of the visit.
David confirmed the trip to Nashville with a photo of their daughter on Instagram.
The JE Cosmetics owner had previously filed a restraining order request against him before the meet-up.
She claimed he was “abusive” and “violent” throughout their marriage by detailing 11 alleged incidents of abuse.
