Dancing On Ice stars in ‘secrecy lockdown’ over Caprice’s fallout with partner

THE stars of Dancing On Ice are in “secrecy lockdown” over Caprice Bourret’s fallout with her skating partner Hamish Gaman.

The Sun Online has approached numerous stars of the show today after the shock announcement they had “parted ways”, however none of them know what is going on.

An insider revealed: “The whole situation has been shrouded in secrecy and no one will speak about what really went on – and most people have no idea.

“Gossipmongers amongst the cast were desperate to find out backstage after the show but hit a brick wall.

“There is a really weird air of mystery about what went on and the people who should know don’t, and those who do aren’t willing to speak – just yet.

“Because nobody seems to know exactly what’s it all, it’s left everyone worrying something huge has happened.”

During last night’s show viewers were left baffled when Caprice was notably absent from the show – even though her partner Hamish was in the studio.

Holly Willoughby added to the confusion when she explained: “Unfortunately, Caprice and Hamish have parted ways.

“As you saw in our opening number Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week.”

Fans flocked to Twitter to demand more information, with several predicting that there had been a bust-up between the two stars.

So far, the only details either party has revealed is that it was a mutual decision to stop working together.

The move came just hours after the US model admitted that her fiery temperament meant that she could clash with other stars backstage in a new interview.

Caprice and Hamish made their debut on the show last week, landing second place on the leader-board with 25.5 points out of 40 after dancing a routine to Lewis Capaldi’s Some You Loved.
