CAPRICE hinted at Dancing on Ice drama in a video shared moments before her split from pro partner Hamish Gaman was announced.

Holly Willoughby revealed the couple had 'parted ways' ahead of tonight's live show in the opening moments of the programme.

While no further explanation was offered, Caprice baffled viewers further by retweeting a video featuring Hamish as well as her thoughts on being on the ITV show moments before it went on air.

In a chat at her home with OK! Magazine, the 48-year-old revealed: "Once we start competing seriously and we get a bit more down the line, who knows you may have the dramas then, that'll be me."

As she spoke, footage of her and Hamish, 36, posing happily for pictures around her stunning home was shown.

Caprice also spoke about how thrilled she was to be on Dancing on Ice, but maybe tellingly didn't mention Hamish directly.

She said: "Dancing on Ice is much more demanding than what I thought but it's so much fun.

"I honestly didn't think I would love it as much as I do. I've become slightly obsessed with it, I dream of skating.

"I watch skating videos all the time, it's a little bit weird. I'm training every day but I want to do more, more, more. I don't get sick of it.

"I love it, I'm so lucky, everyone wants to do this show. I'm just having such a ball and I'm so appreciative that I have this opportunity. I'm just having a great time."

Her comments are in stark contrast to the statement Holly, 38, read out following the opening group number for Musicals week.

The 38-year-old said: "Unfortunately Caprice and Hamish have parted ways and will not be skating this week.

"As you saw in our opening number, Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week."

Last week, Caprice and Hamish finished second on the leaderboard with 25.5 points after dancing a routine to Lewis Capaldi's Some You Loved.
