Dancing on Ice’s Caprice misses live show after ‘parting ways’ with pro partner Hamish Gaman in shock announcement
DANCING on Ice's Caprice has missed tonight's live show after 'parting ways' with pro partner Hamish Gaman in a shock announcement.
Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield revealed the surprising news at the start of tonight's show following a group dance which the model was not part of.
Holly said: "Unfortunately Caprice and Hamish have parted ways and will not be skating this week.
"As you saw in our opening number, Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week."
Last week, Caprice and Hamish finished second on the leaderboard with 25.5 points after dancing a routine to Lewis Capaldi's Some You Loved.
However, something major appears to have happened within the last week which has lead to their decision not to skate together any more.
The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Dancing on Ice for comment.
Caprice, 48, had previously shared her excitement at being partnered with Hamish, 36, insisting he was the only skater she wanted to be paired with.
The shock news comes after Trisha Goddard was the first celebrity to be voted off the show last week.
Fans were shocked by the news, with one writing on Twitter: "So is someone going to tell us what's really going on with Caprice before the show ends!"
Another added: "Feel like the caprice and hamish announcement has distracted me from the rest of the show. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!!!"
A third agreed, writing: "Why aren’t they spilling the tea on Caprice and Hamish?! Can’t just leave us with 'they’ve parted ways'".
Meanwhile a fourth tweeted: "Oooo Why have Hamish & Caprice parted ways?? What has happened? They looked so good together the other week. What a shame? #DancingOnIce."
