Lisa Vanderpump slams VPR stars’ racist tweets as ‘heinous’- as Max Boyens rumored to be ‘fired’ from Bravo show
LISA Vanderpump has spoken out about Vanderpump Rules stars Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni's resurfaced racist tweets.
The headstrong SUR boss, who has long promoted diversity and civil rights, slammed the comments as "heinous."
“I embrace a community of diversity and do not tolerate bigotry of any form within my workplace.
“Max and Brett are both appropriately ashamed of their past obnoxious teenage arrogance and casual use of unacceptable terms.
"While both have now matured as adults, they have shown remorse for their prior reckless defamatory statements.”
Despite the 27-year-old on Thursday, Bravo bosses have apparently decided to let him go from the hit
The source said: He only apologized because he got caught.
“Max is a newbie, and nobody cares if he’s kicked off the show.”
As The Sun previously reported, Max hurled abuse at Asian and black people in a series of unearthed Twitter posts and used shocking racial slurs.
In one such tweet, Max typed: "Something about Asians that just makes me want to punch them in the a**hole."
A second tweet read: "There's this girl I see everyday at school, she looks just like the girl from the movie precious and I'm not just saying this cuz she's big and black."
He later addressed his comments in a statement to People, saying: "I want to sincerely apologize for what I tweeted in 2012 — it was wrong on every level
"It is not a representation of who I am. I am shocked I ever tweeted that — and I am disgusted and embarrassed — I am truly sorry."
Also in 2012, Brett reportedly tweeted: “Wassup wit black people wearin so much Aeropostale I don’t get it lol.” He also was accused of using racial slurs in several 2011 tweets.
The Vanderpump Rules newbie also apologized to People: “I want to express my deepest apologies for the insensitive, ignorant, and hurtful comments I made.
"I am incredibly ashamed and accept full responsibility, and acknowledge that this language was as unacceptable then as it is now."
