EastEnders spoilers: Mick Carter goes overboard as Tina screams for him from a lifeboat as soap films shock death
MICK Carter looks set to end up in the water in EastEnders as the soap films the shock death episodes.
The Queen Vic landlord - who is played by actor Danny Dyer in the BBC soap - will seemingly disappear during the big party on the Thames river boat to celebrate winning Pub of the Year.
New filming pictures have revealed the moment Mick's sister Tina Carter screams for her brother as she climbs onto a lifeboat with Jack and Max Branning in an effort to find him.
Other pictures show the Walford residents all donning life vests as tragedy hits the vessel.
The Sun exclusively revealed how a major character would die in the scenes after falling off the boat into an icy watery death.
Queen Vic landlords Mick and Linda Carter throw the bash after winning the best pub in Walford competition and filming pictures have shown Linda throwing herself into it by downing champagne.
The dramatic episodes are being shot on location this week.
Those thought to be at risk include Mick, played by Danny Dyer, and veterans Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean).
A source on the BBC soap, which features the London river in its credits, told The Sun yesterday: "Where better place for a major death than on the Thames itself, which is so central to the show?
"Trouble has been brewing in Walford for a while, and they decided it was the perfect occasion to see off a big name.
"It’s thought that as part of the dramatic scenes Sharon will give birth on the boat, but she is just one of many who could see themselves go overboard to an icy, watery death."
Others guests include Ian’s sons Peter, played by new actor Dayle Hudson, and Bobby (Clay Milner Russell).
The week’s episodes, which will air in the third week of February, will focus on 24 hours as the guests board the ferry and begin to celebrate.
