Liz Hurley’s son Damian says 2019 was ‘indescribably challenging’ as he shares unseen pics of mum and famous pals
LIZ Hurley’s son Damian has described 2019 as “indescribably challenging” as he shared a series of unseen pictures of his mum and friends.
The 17-year-old candidly discussed the past 12 months in a lengthy Instagram post yesterday – a week after the new year started.
He told his followers: “I’m aware that this is slightly late, but it’s taken me a while to put these pictures together.
“The past year has been a strange mix of events- both unbelievably incredible and indescribably challenging.
“Whilst I’ve accomplished so much that I’m proud of, my friends and I have all also been through things that I sincerely hope we’ll never have to experience again.”
The teen – who is a model and an actor – continued: “Regardless, 2020 has now well and truly begun, and I have no doubt that it will be our best year yet.”
He later added: “EDIT: I WROTE THAT AT 2AM LAST NIGHT FEELING INCREDIBLY ELOQUENT AND NOSTALGIC- TRANSLATION= HAVE THE BEST YEAR EVER.”
Alongside his reflective words he posted a picture of him grinning broadly with his mum Liz, 54.
Others shots saw him with his close friends having fun and in another he was seen running through the snow.
Liz and Damian are incredibly close and often feature on each other’s Instagram pages, regularly wowing followers with their lookalike faces.
The actress previously came under fire when she revealed that her son was the photographer behind many of the saucy snaps.
She defended getting the teen to photograph her in her swimwear, saying as he’s studying photography he has an eye for it.
She said: “When we’re on holiday together, sure he’ll take some pictures.
“And you know, he’s got a really good eye and he’s studying photography and it’s ridiculous.”
Liz briefly dated Damian’s father – US businessman Steve Bing – in 2001, and when the model was born the following April the businessman denied paternity.
However, a DNA test proved that he was the father, with Damian winning a fight to inherit from Steve’s £380m family fortune just last month.
He had previously been told that he would not get any money from the trust because he was born out of wedlock, with his grandfather Dr Peter Bing fighting to try and prevent Damian and his half-sister Kira Kerkorian, from accessing their inheritance.
