GOOD Morning Britain suffered an embarrassing blunder this morning as it used the wrong picture to introduce Bond girl guest Britt Ekland.
Hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were left red-faced when the Swedish actress, 77, pointed out the main image beside her was another actress who resembled her.
Insisting that it happened quite often, Britt explained the actress appeared at a Bond premiere and was confused for her.
The remainder of the interview played out with the smiling image ever present in the shot.
It was nevertheless one of Piers' favourite interview, with him declaring: "They don’t make them like Britt anymore."
The Man With The Golden Gun star had him in stitches as she recalled Rod Stewart wearing her silk underwear while performing on stage.
Confirming the rumour was in fact true, Britt explained: "He wore a very silky, flowing outfit.
"The pants weren’t tight. You can imagine performing on stage, it would all be swinging around like my arm.
"He’d pull the knickers up so the package was in place."
And she didn't pull any punches when asked if there should be a female Bond.
She said: "It’s not going to happen. I know Barbara (Broccoli, Bond producer). If I have any influence I’ll say there must always be a Bond. She can be anything, but she can’t be a James Bond."

Weighing in on calls to scrap the role of Bond girl, Britt called it "foolish".
"Bond girls are a very nice title," she said. "It’s what people want. It doesn’t have the same ring 'Bond woman'."
Unsurprisingly she told the hosts that Roger Moore, who she starred opposite, was the hottest ever Bond.
