Celebrity Big Brother psychic Derek Acorah will contact us from beyond the grave after his sudden death, pals claim
PALS of Most Haunted star Derek Acorah reckon he will make contact from beyond the grave.
The telly medium, 69, has died on Friday after developing sepsis and falling into a coma.
Friends believe he will use his powers to let loved ones know he is at peace.
His former co-star Phil Whyman, 48, told the Daily Star on Sunday: "It would be nice to think he'll be in contact.
"When he does, he will probably crack a joke or two. He liked a laugh. He was always smiling. He had a massive persona."
Fellow medium Micky Vermooch, 66, added: "Derek doted on his family. Him and his wife were devoted to each other. I know for a fact it won't be long before he makes himself known.
"He will find someone he wants to make contact with him to say, 'Derek has arrived in the spirit world'. I don't think it'll be too long until that happens. He will want them to know he's safe.
"In terms of coming back from the spirit world, I would say he has a headstart - his faith is everything."
Yesterday we told how Gwen, his wife of 24 years, said the final days of his short illness were blighted by a "vile couple" who "wanted his status". It is believed she was referring to Rachel Gibson and her husband Dee.
'JEALOUS OF HIS STATUS'
She told SunOnline: “It's been going on for a while.
"They were just jealous of Derek and wanted his status.
"We didn't report them to the police as you'd just spend all your time in a police station but I'm upset about it, especially as they sent messages while he was in intensive care.
"I know they probably didn't know he was so ill but they should be ashamed of themselves."
Gwen added: “He was taken really quickly. It was pneumonia which got him in the end.
"He developed sepsis and was in intensive care. I'm heartbroken to have lost him.
"It's devastating that's he's gone."

Gwen Acorah
Gwen earlier hit out at the couple in a Facebook tribute to her beloved husband of 24 years.
She fumed: “To the vile couple who hounded him for responses to their ridiculous campaign whilst he was in Intensive Care in a coma, I hope you have the decency to hang your heads in shame.
"I have things to deal with now but I won’t forget nor will I forgive what you have done!"
REALITY STAR TRAGEDY
Gwen said that reality star Derek, who shot to fame on Most Haunted, ignored the trolls as he bravely fought illness from hospital bed.
She revealed: “Derek didn't let it bother him - he just ignored it."
Derek, born in Bootle, Merseyside, shot to fame on cult show Most Haunted and later went on to present Derek Acorah's Ghost Towns.
He became Britain’s most famous psychic. But his career was dogged with accusations that he was a charlatan.
He caused outrage in 2012 when he claimed missing Madeleine McCann was “in the spirit world”.
In 2009, he was slammed for a live seance TV show he took part in where he claimed to have been contacted by dead pop star Michael Jackson.
Derek left haunting messages and revealed he had been suffering from flu just hours before he died on Friday.
