Teen Mom Jenelle Evans slammed after she begs fans not to ‘assume’ following her visit with new boyfriend
FANS are questioning Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans's ability to tell the truth and make good decisions after she pleaded on social media for people to stop making assumptions about her life.
The Teen Mom 2 star took to social media last night to beg fans to wait for her confirmation on certain details, but her demands quickly backfired.
After The Sun Online exclusively broke the news of , she seemingly responded to the report on her social media accounts.
She wrote on both Twitter and Instagram: "Don’t assume anything about my life unless I confirm it."
She ended the post with a "thanks," and a heart emoji.
Although her plea was met with some positive responses, many of her fans criticized her for "deflecting the truth."
One wrote: "We can't always [trust] what you say babe, you lied about David [Eason] and the way your relationship was.
"You've lied about so many things in the past how can we believe you?
"Go read the boy who cried wolf and you'll understand."
As Teen Mom fans know, Jenelle repeatedly insisted her marriage to David was perfect - but left him in October.
Other followers argued that the ex-reality star, who has been known to jump from one relationship to the next, should stay single.
Another follower tweeted: "Really wish you could take a year or two to be single and find yourself.
"There's a reason you keep ending up with bad dudes and make the same mistakes over and over again."
While another one said: "Girl, no. Whatever you have going on, dating [shouldn't] even entertained at this point in time.
"Make excuses or attempt to rationalize why it should be okay to date anyone currently, it's not.
"Bad timing. Just no. Stop being thirsty, looking to fill voids by guys. Get therapy."
The Sun Online exclusively reported that Jenelle was dating Boston-based hunk Herb Wilkinson.
The source said she flew out of her new home in Nashville to see him.
The insider said: "She’s visiting him because she is interested in him."
Herb even posted a video of the two grabbing dinner.
The news comes just weeks after she announced her plans to divorce ex husband David Eason.
She wrote on Instagram on October 31: "The kids and I have moved away from David.
"Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that's what is best for me, and for my kids."
Jenelle, who married David in September 2017, continued: "Today I’ve filed papers to start that process."
