Netflix You season two fans convinced they know who Joe’s next victim is after tense final episode

NETFLIX fans are convinced that they know who stalker Joe’s next victim will be after a tense final episode of You.

The show’s second series started streaming on Boxing Day – and dedicated fans who’ve binged the show already have a theory about who the obsessive killer will target next.

The final episode of the series sees Joe move out of LA with new girlfriend Love – and spots his next victim.

Looking through the fence in the back garden, he whispers “well hello neighbour – I’ll be seeing you soon” at a woman reading a book on a sunlounger – and she’s wearing a wedding ring.

Fans are now convinced that Joe’s next obsession won’t be a girlfriend – and he’s actually stalking his estranged mum.

“The girl at the end of You is his mom, I’m calling it” said one viewer, while another said: “Hear me out I feel like the neighbor is actually his mom”.

“The ending of #YouOnNetflix I bet it’s his mom I’m telling you,” insisted another, while a fourth said: “Just finished Season 2 of #YouOnNetflix & I really dug the 1st Season but this season was 10 times better, I couldn't stop watching it was incredibly entertaining from start to finish. I am wondering if the neighbor is his mom, it could be a possibility & be included for season 3”.

Another fan shared a meme, saying: “Me knowing damn well that’s the “neighbor” is his damn momma”.

Throughout series two, Joe was tormented by dreams about his mum – and how he killed his abusive dad.

Despite getting together with new girlfriend Love, he continued to obsess about his mum – and refused to answer when asked if she was still alive.

Although Netflix haven’t officially been confirmed there will be a season three, creator Sera Gamble says she’s already working on ideas.

“Absolutely it could come back for season three," she told . "First of all, it's up to the powers that be. We hope that a lot of people will watch the show and that it gets to continue.

"I will say that we have an idea for season three that is SO exciting that people talk about it in the [writer's] room everyday. So my fingers are crossed... I'll just say, I hope we get the chance to keep making the show."
