THE legend that is Dracula is back to terrorise viewers with a new BBC TV adaptation, airing TONIGHT (January 1).

But what fans really want to know is who will be featuring in the three-part horror? Here’s everything you need to know...

Who stars in Dracula?

Claes Bang as Dracula 

Claes Bang is a Danish actor and musician from Denmark.

The 50-year-old actor is best known for starring as art museum curator Christian in the 2017 film The Square.

He also recently starred as Jan Holster in The Girl in the Spider’s Web.

Bang is fluent in five languages and is also a musician, playing under the name This Is Not America.

Claes said: "I am thrilled to be taking on the role of Dracula, especially when the script is in the hands of the incredible talents of , Mark Gatiss and the team responsible for Sherlock.

"I'm so excited that I get to dig in to this iconic and super-interesting character. Yes he's evil, but there's also so much more to him, he’s charismatic, intelligent, witty and sexy.

"I realise that there's a lot to live up to with all the amazing people that have played him over the years, but I feel so privileged, to be taking on this incredible character."

The Loch, Luther, Ripper Street and Outlander are just a few of the TV dramas John has featured in during his career.

He also played the role of Sam Spence in Collateral.

In 2017, he played John Grigg, 2nd Baron Altrincham, in an episode of the Netflix series The Crown.

Joanna has starred in The Accident, Hold The Sunset, No Offence and Death Comes To Pemberley during her career.

The 58-year-old is also a screenwriter and was nominated for three Bafta TV Awards for Getting On, including two for Best Writing.

The actor suffered from depression, which haunted her in her 20s.

Acting became so helpful for her wellbeing, she even started to teach drama techniques to teenagers living with cancer.

Dolly’s acting credits include appearances in the Bridget Jones’ Diary movie franchise, Some Girls, Can You Ever Forgive Me, The IT Crowd and 45 Years.

Wells grew up believing her father was her stepfather, and did not find out he was her biological father until the age of 18.

Wells married photographer Mischa Richter in 2000 and they have a 17-year-old daughter Elsie and 14-year-old son Ezra.

Both appeared with their mother in Sky Witness series Doll & Em.

Morfydd has appeared in His Dark Materials, Patrick Melrose, Arthur & George and Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.

Born in Sweden, Clark was brought up on Wales but left school when she was 16 after struggling with dyslexia.

In 2009, she was accepted into British Youth Music Theatre's production of According To Brian Haw and into the National Youth Theatre of Wales, before training at the Drama Centre London.

In May 2016, she appeared in the film The Call Up and is set to appear as Cordelia in King Lear at The Old Vic, starring in the upcoming film Interlude In Prague.

He’s also an actor and has starred in a number of well known TV dramas including Doctor Who, Wolf Hall, Sherlock, Game of Thrones and Good Omens.

Mark has co-written the drama with Sherlock co-creator Steven Moffat.

He featured in the HBO series Game of Thrones as Tycho Nestoris.

Together with Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Jeremy Dyson, he is a member of the comedy team The League of Gentlemen.
