Tamzin Outhwaite has dig at ex Tom Ellis as she praises new man Tom Child for raising her kids
TAMZIN Outhwaite has appeared to have taken a thinly veiled swipe at ex Tom Ellis as she praised new man Tom Child for raising her daughters.
The actress, 49, who divorced the Lucifer star in 2014, has been with toyboy Tom, 28, for two years.
He now lives with her and and her two daughters Florence, 11, and Marnie, seven, who she shares with ex Tom.
Tamzin took to Instagram to thank her man for raising the youngsters.
She posted a quote which read: "I can respect any man who can heal a heart he didn't break... and raise a family he didn't make."
Alongside the snap, the star added: "There are quite a few of you out there... massive respect to you all... especially my love... @tc_childie you have completely made our little heavenly family even more heavenly."
Her marriage ended after Ellis reportedly confessed to cheating on her with a co-star in 2013, with reports claiming it was a one night stand.
He moved out of the house he shared with the star in 2014 weeks after coming clean.
Tamzin later hinted there was more to story, telling Essentials Magazine: "I wouldn't not be with my husband over a one-night stand is all I'll say."
The pair were married for seven years before splitting.
Her previous marriage troubles hasn't put Tamzin off tying the knot in the future.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: "I'm not a scorned woman. I'm ridiculously happy and my marriage ended a very long time ago.
"I'm not closed off to the idea of marrying again, even though it didn't end perfectly last time."
The soap star - who played Mel Owen in EastEnders before her character was killed off this year - added: "I did initially question whether a 20-year age difference would work but we couldn't stay away from each other.
