EastEnders: Moment Phil realises Keanu is the father of Sharon’ baby explained in new Christmas trailer

EASTENDERS has released an explosive trailer ahead of its Christmas Day special that reveals the moment Phil attacks Sharon after discovering Keanu is the father of her unborn baby.

The Walford hardman screams at his trembling wife “worth it, was he?” before hurling a chair across their Christmas table.

When does Phil find out Keanu is the father of Sharon's baby?

The EastEnders Christmas trailer has revealed that Phil finds out that his son-in-law Keanu is the father of Sharon’s baby in time to confront her in explosive Christmas Day scenes.

EastEnders fans know that Phil recently discovered that he isn’t the father of the baby.

Realising that Sharon had lied about going to Dennis’ parents evening, Phil examined her sat nav and realised she’d been to visit Lisa at the clinic.

Putting two and two together, Phil said to son Ben: "Sharon's been lying to me.

"She's been lying to me about where she goes, she's been lying to me about what she does.

"You know what that means, don't you? It means that baby ain't mine."

Phil is getting closer to the scent, but is set to be thrown off in upcoming episodes when he convinces himself Jack Branning is the culprit and tortures him.

Whether Phil discovers that Keanu is the father before Christmas day - giving him time to plan his revenge on Sharon and Keanu - or on the day remains to be seen, and fans will have to tune in to upcoming episodes to find out exact timings.

The baby daddy bombshell will set the stage for Keanu’s exit from the soap as he’s confirmed his departure.

With Keanu’s exit on the horizon, fans are convinced he’ll meet a tragic end at the hands of Phil - who’s no stranger to a bit of violent revenge.

However, recent pictures of scenes shot at Stansted Airport show Keanu escaping abroad after saying an emotional goodbye to his mum.
