Boy George sued by ex-lover and drummer Jon Moss after he booted him out of Culture Club
BOY George is being sued for £200,000 by his ex-lover and Culture Club drummer Jon Moss.
Moss, 61 claims he was ruthlessly booted out of the band after almost 37 years.
He accuses George, 58, and band members Mikey Craig, 59, and Roy Hay, 58, of giving him the bullet before a lucrative tour last autumn.
His lawyers say he was told he should “take a break” by their manager Paul Kemsley — and fired over the phone soon after.
And they claim he was blanked after emails to Boy George, real name George O’Dowd, went unanswered.
Moss has filed a writ at London’s High Court naming the band trio as defendants.

He is demanding nearly £200,000 in missing payments and a share of profits.
He wants the group, which had hits like Do You Really Want To Hurt Me and Karma Chameleon, to buy him out.
His lawyers argue Moss should have got £450,000 for the 80-gig Life Tour, but got only £265,000.
