Who won Strictly Come Dancing 2019?
Kelvin Fletcher secured enough votes from the public to be crowned the winner of the the 17th series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The former Emmerdale star who used to play Andy Sugden in the ITV soap, was initially not even part of the BBC dance contest. But after replacing Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing he took the judges and fan's breath away with his rendition of the Samba in week one.
Bruno Tonioli even went as far as to describe the performance as the greatest debut dance he had ever seen on Strictly.
The journey for the 35-year-old came full circle when he danced the Samba again for his third dance of tonight's final and the last dance he would perform with partner Oti Mabuse before the show.
How did Kelvin react to winning Strictly?
The actor was overcome with emotion as he embraced his dance partner and soaked in the fact that he was the new champion of Strictly.
"I'm absolutely speechless, I did not expect that, it's been an absolute privilege to be here", explained Kelvin, desperately trying to hold back the tears of joy.
After taking time to compose himself, Kelvin thanked his dance partner Oti.
MORE ON STRICTLY

"If something's not right we will stay in training and rehearse because he genuinely loved dancing and for me that is the best gift and the best ending to my year so thank you so much!"
Judge Motsi Mabuse watched on with pride as her sister lift the glitterball trophy for the first time since she began competing on Strictly since in 2015.
Kelvin and Oti's fellow celeb dancers joined them on the dancefloor and lifted them up as the couple celebrated with the glitterball trophy.
