STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are in hysterics as Tess Daly introduces Kelvin Fletcher as Kevin during the final.

The former Emmerdale actor was gearing up to perform his showdance with pro partner Oti Mabuse when Tess suffered a slip of the tongue.

Before the VT, the presenter called him "Kevin" before quickly correcting herself - leaving fans laughing.

Especially because Stacey Dooley was in the audience, who won the show last year with her now-boyfriend Kevin Clifton.

One person wrote: "kevin? its KELVIN, tess"

Another added: "knew kevin would sneak his way into the final some how"

But that wasn't the only mistake, as co-host Claudia Winkelman nearly skipped through their scores.

Instead of linking to the judges scores, she tried to go straight to the leaderboard.

Fans found this funny, with one person saying: "Claudia making a boo boo"

A second added: "Tess calling Kelvin 'Kevin' and Claudia forgetting the judges scores were due for Kelvin and Oti's Showdance."

The dancers have dazzled throughout the live final, with Kelvin and Oti performing the Rumba (39), a Showdance (40), and a Samba.

Meanwhile, Karim and Amy danced the Quickstep (40), Showdance (39), and Jive.

Finally, Emma Barton and Anton du Beke performed Charleston (39), Showdance (38) and Viennese Waltz.

The final hasn't been without its controversy, as fans raged about the judges sexualising Kelvin.

After he performed the judges couldn’t resist commenting on his muscles, with even Craig admitting: “I have to admit I am hot under the collar. I thought it was absolutely tremendous.”

Motsi Mabuse praised Fletcher for his body movement and drew laughter from the audience when she commented she was glad she had seen the number twice.

Shirley, often referred to as the Queen of the Rumba, said: "You are oily, you are like a lava lamp... the perfectly timed synchronised body movement... the technique is superb, you are amazing."

However, fans fumed about how uncomfortable Kelvin looked throughout.
