EASTENDERS fans are buzzing with excitement after Phil Mitchell finally realised that Sharon is a lying cheat.

Hardman Phil - played by actor Steve McFadden in the BBC soap - is set to go to extreme lengths to discover the identity of the baby’s father but when will he discover the shocker that it’s his son-in-law Keanu Taylor?

When does Phil find out that Keanu's the father?

EastEnders fans know that Phil is getting closer to the scent after finally realising he wasn’t the father of Sharon’s baby on last night’s episode.

Thursday night’s game-changing scenes saw Sharon’s web of lies quickly unravel after Phil took matters into his own hands and did some digging.

Realising that Sharon had lied about going to Dennis’ parents evening, Phil examined her sat nav and realised she’d been to visit Lisa at the clinic.

Putting two and two together, Phil said to son Ben: "Sharon's been lying to me.

"She's been lying to me about where she goes, she's been lying to me about what she does.

"You know what that means, don't you? It means that baby ain't mine."

Ben then vowed to help his dad find out the identity of Sharon’s baby’s father.

But the pair are set to get the wrong end of the stick when they discover Sharon’s necklace and Jack Branning and assume he must be the father.

In scenes next week, Phil is set to torture Jack and is seen brooding with a gun.

But EastEnders have confirmed that the walls will close in on Sheanu very soon as Phil is set to discover the truth about their affair.

But with exact timings yet to be confirmed, fans will have to wait to find out when Phil discovers that Sharon’s secret man is Keanu.
