RHOA star Yovanna Momsplaisir ‘may have made up’ story about secret recording of Cynthia Bailey slamming Nene Leakes
THE shocking recording of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey talking about Nene Leakes "like a dog" might not even exist.
A source close to the show told that Gail “Yovanna” Momplaisir may have made up the tape's existence to create further drama between the cast.
The source said: "There is allegedly audio but to date, no cast member or staffer has heard said audio."
“Many believe she made it up to keep filming.”
The source further explained the validity of the tape isn't important to the RHOA ladies.
The insider said: "Nene doesn’t care if it was/is real, she knows Cynthia trash talks her."
During last week's episode, Nene told fellow housewife Kandi Burruss that someone had secretly recorded Cynthia talking about her.
She said:"I don’t care what Cynthia has said, I'm just telling you that she has."
"Not only that, but she spoke to someone else that we both know in common and have talked about me like a dog, and unfortunately for her, they recorded everything she said. That's right."
Kandi then went to Cynthia to let her know about the alleged tape, but the model didn't seem all that fazed about the rumor.
She told Kandi: "I don’t care what she has. I’m quite sure that I have talked about Nene in defense of all the things that she’s said about me."
"And if somebody felt the need to record it, then so what."
Kenya Moore said during the show: "That person needs to step up, because you need to be a sly dog and a little snake in front of everybody."
"Don’t bring it up unless you can really show the receipts."
As fans know, Yovanna is currently a friend of the Real Housewives, and doesn't have a permanent spot in the show.
A source told Radar Online that Yovanna was the "snake" in the show because she "dishes out so much trash talking, stirring up trouble."
In this particular feud, Yovanna went to Nene to let her know Cynthia was talking about her behind her back.
Soon after Cynthia found out about the supposed recording, rumors started swirling about who had made it, and she pointed the finger at Marlo Hampton and Yovanna.
Yovanna, however, denied the accusations when confronted.
She said on camera: "Who said I recorded Cynthia? No… I ain’t no spy. No, not at all."

Viewers know that Cynthia and Nene have had a rocky relationship for more than a year.
They used to be best friends, but Nene lashed out when enemy Kenya arrived to Cynthia's bash in season 11.
Nene believed Cynthia lied about not knowing Kenya was coming to the party.
