This Morning’s Alison Hammond publicly supports Phillip Schofield by replying to tweet telling him he’s ‘loved’

ALISON Hammond has thrown her support behind Phillip Schofield, telling him he's "loved" amid his feud with This Morning colleagues.

The silver fox, 57, has been accused of creating a toxic atmosphere at the ITV daytime show, but his co-star Alison, 44, has publicly backed him.

Responding to a tweet Schofe posted in June regarding scathing remarks made about by Amanda Holden, Alison said: "YOU ARE LOVED full stop.";

Phillip's original post read: "The end of another really sad weekend. When you try for 35 years to be the easiest, most fun person to work with and you read such hurtful and wildly untrue stories from nameless ‘sources’. Obviously I’ll take it on the chin.. I just hope you know me better."

Meanwhile Holly Willoughby dismissed claims of a rift between her and longtime co-host Phillip yesterday, sharing a video of them singing and hugging.

Phillip is at the centre of a civil war at This Morning, with a series of presenters unhappy about the host’s attitude behind the scenes.

Eight star ITV presenters have also spoken out about what they describe as a “toxic” environment on the show.

And This Morning's Friday presenter Ruth Langsford has made a complaint about Phil after he abruptly cut her off live on Loose Women.

But Holly appeared to stand by her co-host as she shared the video on Instagram last night.

In the clip, the pair sang along to Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas as they filmed the Dancing On Ice Christmas Special.

They ended their singalong with a warm hug and Holly even patted Phil on the back.

Fans gushed over their happy display of affection, with Rochelle Humes typing love hearts beneath the post.

The pair have been filming the Dancing On Ice Christmas Special this week and spoke to Sun Online about meeting on the show 13 years ago.

But they played down their secret feud after The Sun exclusively revealed the host's relationship has become increasingly strained.

Holly, 38, even had to stop herself from crying as she admitted the ice show has brought back happy memories from the pair's 13-year-friendship.

She said: "Phil and I met on this show. There's a lot of history. You’re going to set me off.

"My kids really love the show as well. I get quite emotional thinking about it. All of them were carried in my tummy on this show and when we finished I always went off and had the babies."

Later, Phil opened up about the pressures of two huge prime time shows with his on-screen partner as he said:
"The thing is, This Morning is an entirely different thing. It’s different muscles, different speeds and different thoughts.

"You get nervous; Dancing on Ice is a big show. You want to make sure it’s right. But we have the easy job really, at least we’re not risking life and limb on the ice."
