THIS Morning host Phillip Schofield left Ruth Langsford furious after brutally interrupting her on live television.
The on-air spat, which happened back in April, led Ruth to make a formal complaint to ITV bosses.
In the clip, the presenters clash after Phil, 57, rudely cuts a Loose Women segment short, with Ruth, 59 slamming her pen down in fury.
However, the presenter appears unfazed as he grins and continues on with the morning show alongside co-host Holly Willoughby.
The awkward moment resurfaced on Twitter amid reports of a "toxic" environment on This Morning with a series of ITV presenters unhappy about the Phillip’s attitude behind the scenes.
Reacting to the clip one user wrote: "Oh my god the dramatics hahahaha."
Another said: "What a rude tone... that means ego has taken over. Bye bye Phillip."
A third commented: "The mask has well and truly slipped."
The video comes days after The Sun revealed dad-of-two Phillip has caused tension backstage.
Ruth complained to ITV’s embattled new head of daytime TV Emma Gormley over his conduct.
A source revealed: “Ruth and Eamonn both appear to be treated harshly by Phillip. After Phillip literally cut her off in the middle of a sentence on air when she was hosting Loose Women she decided enough was enough. Yet again nothing changed.”
The Sun also revealed his professional relationship with close friend Holly has become strained in recent months.
Phillip and Holly’s most recent bust-up was over his apparent jealousy when she won a Bafta in May for I’m A Celebrity where she had filled in for Ant McPartlin — but he didn’t want her to celebrate the win on This Morning.
An ITV source revealed: “Phillip was furious. He didn’t want Holly mentioning her triumph when they reunited on This Morning.
“It felt very petty and bitter for someone who is his close friend. But it felt like he was jealous.”
Eight star ITV presenters have also spoken out about what they describe as a “toxic” environment on the show.
This Morning Editor Martin Frizell hit back at the claims, insisting Phil and Holly have a “genuine friendship”.
Frizell — the husband of ex-GMTV presenter Fiona Phillips — added: “We have the smartest viewers watching telly and believe me they would be the first to notice any issues — they haven’t because there are none.”
This isn't the first time a complaint has been made against Phillip.
Last year, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden claimed Phillip got her banned from presenting on the show.
ITV bosses are even considering replacing Phillip with Ben Shephard on This Morning after he showed great chemistry with Holly in the past.
ITV insists Schofield is the target of “malicious gossip”.
A show spokeswoman said: “This is absolutely not a description of This Morning we recognise.”
