Love Island’s Olivia Buckland rules out having children for next year despite being the broodiest she’s ever been

LOVE Island's Olivia Buckland has ruled out having children for 2020 despite being the broodiest she's ever been.

The 25-year-old reality star has begun to tick off multiple milestones in her relationship with hubby Alex Bowen, 27 since meeting in the Love Island villa - but is in no rush to start a family due to work commitments.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online about latest tanning campaign with Cocoa Brown, the beauty revealed that having a baby won’t be on the cards next year - although it will be in the future to come.

She said: "Kids wise, we do talk about it, and I think I’m more broody than I used to be and I do want to have kids.

“But we’re just so busy and one of the opportunities I have next year, I might have to move abroad for two months so I wouldn't be able to have a baby next year anyway.

"So it's definitely not going to happen next year but I think it's on the cards, just not sure when.

The social media influencer absolutely loves her career and wants to excel as much as she can before she settles down with Alex, who she tied the knot with in September 2018.

She added: “I absolutely love what we do and I love our careers and I love being busy so I love fitting that in, but one day.

“I don't feel the pressure, it used to annoy me and I used to hate talking about it but now I've just accepted that I’m not ready and I can't feel pressured by anyone because it's just up to me and Alex really.”

But she’s most excited about all the new potential friendships she’ll be able to gain once the contestants leave the villa.

“I just love seeing the new islanders I'm quite lucky because I always get to meet them and see what there like.

“So for me it's like seeing a load of new friends on TV like hi, I’m going to meet you soon," she joked.

During series five of the show, Olivia thought producers needed to add curvier girls into the cast - and still thinks there's "room for improvement."

The Cocoa Brown ambassador said : “I do think Love Island could always include more diversity. I hope that they do....

“I don't think they did enough in this series this year, there were some amazing people in there and there was more job titles, curvier girls, but I think we can go an extra step further and try and include more and more people and I think they will.”

Being behind a camera 24/7 while on the show, Olivia was conscious of what her body looked like and admitted that she did in fact bring take tan in to feel more confident.

However, now that winter has hit, the star isn't as strict with her fake tan regime as she was in the villa and cheekily only puts fake tan on part of her body that she knows will be on show.

“I went to an event yesterday and had jeans on so just tanned my ankles," she joked.

But when she does fake tan she makes sure that she uses Cocoa Brown because of how affordable the product is.

“When I’m tanned I feel more confident and it gives me a glow," she added.

Olivia Buckland is the face of Cocoa Brown which is available in Superdrug and Primark stores nationwide.
