Strictly’s Anton Du Beke lands This Morning presenting role after reaching the final

CHRISTMAS has come early for Anton Du Beke as he lands This Morning presenting role as well as a place in the Strictly final.

The 53-year-old Strictly dancing veteran will hosts a segment on the daytime show called Anton’s Christmas Angels, the reports.

The uplifting footage will see Anton surprise three special people with their activity.

Father-of-two Anton said: “I was delighted to be asked to spend time celebrating Christmas on This Morning.

“What better way than to surprise some of the show’s most deserving viewers with the very best Christmas presents.”

This Morning editor Martin Frizell added: “With Anton’s help we have some fantastic once-in-a-lifetime festive experiences.”

The star sailed through to next weekend's Strictly final tonight keeping his dream of a first Glitterball trophy well and truly alive.

Comedian Chris Ramsey became the latest celebrity to get the boot in tonight's results show.

EastEnders actress Emma Barton, 42, CBBC star Karim Zeroual, 26, and ex-Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher, 35, will go through to the final.

Chris, 33, and his dance partner Karen Hauer, 37, were knocked out of the BBC One competition in the semi-final.

They lost out following a dance-off with Zeroual and Amy Dowden.

The couples performed in front of judges Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse.

Judges opted to save Zeroual, saying he was the "best dancer" and that the pair's routine was "brilliant".
