Dancing With the Stars ‘fix’ fight erupts as judges ignore Ally’s mistakes and fans say Hannah ‘didn’t deserve to win’
A DANCING With the Stars "fix" row has erupted after fans accused the show of deliberately trying to rig the voting in favor of Hannah Brown and Ally Brooke.
Ultimately, Bachelorette star took home the Monday night, but not without some fans feeling it was all a form of promotion for the network.
They took to social media writing: “#DWTS - the fix is in, ABC promoting the upcoming Bachelor with this winner.”
Others added: “It's gonna be Hannah or Ally. They got ABC contracts. The fix is in. #DWTS.”
Viewers went on to say that despite her win, Hannah was not the strongest dancer this season.
A fan tweeted: “#DWTS Love this show but something needs to be done w/the voting being a popularity contest & not a dance contest. Hannah as winner is wrong.
“Ally & Lauren had stronger performances. Keep the show going but fix the voting. Try using the judges' votes for a higher %.”

UN-HAPPY ENDING
Viewers pointed out how even the show co-host Erin Andrews seemed unsatisfied with the winner.
A social media user wrote: “It was VERY obvious that Erin Andrews was NOT happy with the final results of Dancing with the Stars ... 🤔 #Hmm #DWTSFinale.”
Season 28 of the nearly three month dance competition show came down to four couples- Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten, Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko, Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson, as well as and Sasha Farber.
Before the winner was crowned, the final contestants were required to perform two routines- one they had already danced earlier in the season and the other a freestyle.
Ally, of Fifth Harmony fame, and Sasha brought back their 'Proud Mary' jive.
The judges scored them a perfect 30 out of 30, even after their first lift barely got off the ground.
But fans didn’t miss a beat, pointing out on social media that the judges ignored Ally's mistakes.
One person tweeted: “Y’all they ignored ally and sashas dropped lift lol #DWTS #DWTSFinale.”
Too much clear bias all season from judges...

Another wrote: “Too much clear bias all season from judges - almost like they were trying to fix the vote for Ally. So glad she didn’t win. #DWTS”
Others voiced how they wanted different dancers in the final two: “@DancingABC Been loyal viewer EVERY season but WEARY of obvious bias - judges clearly propelling one contestant to the finals.
“Ally was good but judges repeatedly sent better contestants home. Almost as is trying to fix the outcome. Final should have been James and Kel.”
