ANDREA Corr has opened up on her five "devastating" miscarriages while trying for a baby with husband Brett Desmond.
The Corrs singer, 45, said there was a lot of suffering in silence as people were unaware she was grieving, as she spoke today on This Morning.
The Irish star - who had worldwide success with siblings Sharon, Caroline and Jim in the family band - opened up on her heartache in her .
And she told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield today: "It's too big a part of my own spiritual evolution to exclude from my memoir.
"I had five miscarriages. The first two were the most devastating as I didn't have (children) Jean and Brett then. And I didn't know if I'd ever be a mother.
"It is a very lonely place to be because I think everyone knows your grieving (when your dad is gone) but nobody knows about what is not visibly there."
Andrea, who married billionaire Brett back in 2009, shared an excerpt from the book last month.
It reads: "I have miscarried five times.
"The first and second the most devastating, as I could not see yet what...who, I would later be blessed with.
"I walked and I prayed. And my mother-in-law, Pat (a blessing in herself) prayed and lit a candle for us every day.
"Torches and tallow lamps, often to 'the Little Flower' St Therese, for whom there is a shrine in the church of St Jean."
The low-profile star is in Sandy Lane Hotel, the resort in Barbados owned by her father-in-law Dermot.

A band insider told the Irish Sun: "Performing together is second nature for The Corrs.

Andrea spoke about reuniting The Corrs, who last toured in 2016 when they performed at Isle of Wight festival.
She said: "We all want to play together again. I love being the singer in our band. But it is difficult getting us together with the children."
