Faye Brookes cuddles up to personal trainer on the red carpet three months after split with Gareth Gates
FAYE Brookes has been spotted cuddling up to her personal trainer - three months after splitting from Gareth Gates.
The actress, 31, made her red carpet debut with hunky Joe Davies at the White Christmas musical press night in London last night.
Faye hit the headlines over the summer for her on/off relationship with long-time beau and fiance Gareth.
But on Monday, she stepped out with Joe and the pair looked to be extremely close.
Former Corries star Faye wore a black coat that was trimmed with fur, and Joe looked dapper in a tailored navy jacket.
It's not the first time she's been spotted with muscle-bound Joe as the pair have been spending time together since August.
There is no suggestion Faye, 31, was cheating on Gareth with Joe, who she bonded with over their mutual love of fitness.
Gareth, 35, and Faye met when they starred in Legally Blonde in 2012. And they went public with their relationship in August 2013.
They got engaged in January but earlier this month they called off the wedding.
The former Pop Idol runner-up was said to have been devastated when the pair split about two weeks ago.
A source close to the singer said at the time: “Poor Gareth is absolutely heartbroken.
"He’s in pieces. Towards the end of their relationship, Faye started having mysterious late night gym sessions and saying she was out with new gym pals.
"About five weeks ago they had a blazing row, and Gareth confronted Faye about Joe. He felt something wasn’t right, though she insisted they were friends."

The source went on: "Faye and Joe attended the launch of a new bar called Eden in Manchester together, along with loads of her friends and family — and were being openly tactile. And last week they spent a night together in London when Faye had a meeting with her agent and Joe had an event for Barebells protein bars."
However, The Sun reported that Faye won’t return her £30,000 engagement ring to Gareth.
The insider added: "It’s not the money that bothers Gareth but the principle. He feels that she has moved on — so why can’t she just be civil and decent to Gareth now?"
The Sun Online has contacted Faye's representative for comment.
