Rag ‘n’ Bone Man splits from wife just six months after tracksuit wedding — and she’s become close to a friend
DEVASTATED singer Rag ‘n’ Bone Man has split from his wife — just six months after they wed in tracksuits.
His long-term partner is said to have recently become close to a friend.
The Human hitmaker — real name Rory Graham — married Beth Rouy in May in an off-beat ceremony where bride, groom and guests all wore colourful leisure outfits.
A source close to the musician, worth an estimated £4million, said: “It’s a great shame, but these things happen.
"Everyone is staying amicable, and they have a son together who is their top priority.
"He likes to keep a low profile so doesn’t want to make a big deal out of it, but there are no explosive rows and he isn’t likely to say anything about it.”
Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, 34, hinted last month all was not well. He quit Twitter with a message sent to a fan update feed saying “he was taking time off”.
Yesterday there was no sign of him or Beth, 26, at his three-acre gated estate near Brighton.
The singer and Beth, whose online presence shows a passion helping people with mental health problems, were together for ten years.
They have son Reuben, two, together and a sphinx cat named Patricia. Their wedding featured a cake version of Patricia, which was later donated to an addiction charity.
For the register office ceremony in Lewes, East Sussex, the star donned a Polo Ralph Lauren grey camouflage print tracksuit and a large gold chain.
And Beth stood out in a teal tracksuit which featuring Patricia and their initials.
In June at a red carpet even he said of married life: “It’s great, man.
“We’ve been together for ten years anyway so it’s exactly the same. We’ve just got the same name now.”
The gravel-voiced singer had a No2 smash hit in 2016 with Human and also won best single at last year’s Brit Awards.
His 2017 debut album was BBC British Album of the year. The source added: “It looks like it’s a very sad end to what was a very loving and long-term relationship.

“The wedding pictures show what a quirky couple they were, which makes how this has ended so soon even more heartbreaking.
“Only they know what really happened and the truth of anything that was said.”
