Aaron Carter pictured in hospital bed after worrying weight loss sparking concern among fans
AARON Carter has worried fans by sharing a picture of himself being treated in hospital.
The Instagram shot showed the troubled singer, 31, hooked up to an IV drip in a Florida medical centre.
reports that Carter has been ordered to rest for a few days after suffering from exhaustion, while says his worrying weight loss is the reason behind the hospital visit.
The site said the star is having tests after his weight dropped to just above eight stone.
The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Aaron for comment.
He captioned the uploaded snap: "Mommas gonna take care of you."
Just hours earlier he revealed his mum June is once again his manager.
Fans flooded the comments section with well wishes as they desperately tried to find out what was wrong.
One wrote: "don't die."
Another shared: "Wait.. what happened? 😭."
As a third said: "please tell me you weren’t in a car accident 😢."
Last week he shocked fans on Instagram Live after accidentally flashing his penis.
The former popstar appeared to show his privates off in an excited moment during a livestream watched by hundreds of followers.
Concerned fans took screenshots of the moment and posted them online.
It has been a tough few months for the younger brother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter.
In September he sparked concern after unveiling a huge face tattoo of Rihanna in a livestreamed video showing him getting inked while smoking marijuana.
The 31-year-old also ranted about his family in the social media live stream - and how a temporary restraining order from his family saw him forced to give up his guns.
Before getting the tattoo permanently etched onto his face, Aaron said: "I can't have any f***ing firearms right now, because my f***ing family got them taken away from me."
He then grinned as a tattoo artist inked Rihanna's 2013 GQ cover onto the side of his face.
The image depicts the Bajan beauty as Medusa, a mythical Greek creature who had snakes for hair.
Aaron already has several tattoos all over his body - including his neck - but this is the first one to cover his face.

Concerned viewers contacted the police, with Aaron being visited twice by authorities amid reports that he was having a "medical emergency".
However, both times the cops left after speaking to the singer.
In September, it was revealed that 39-year-old Nick Carter, and Aaron's twin sister Angel, had obtained restraining orders against their sibling.
They said in the reports that they feared they and their families were in danger from their brother's "increasingly alarming behaviour" - coupled with his huge array of guns and rifles that he had flaunted on social media.
Aaron insisted that he sold all of the firearms, telling fans at the time: "I don't want to speak about my family anymore, really, it's just not something that I want to mention, cause I kind of feel like it's like a set-up, left and right, and I just want to avoid it."
Nick previously claimed on social media that Aaron had confessed to having "thoughts and intentions of killing [Nick's] pregnant wife and unborn child".
Aaron hit back at the claims, tweeting at the time that he was "astounded" by the accusations.
He said: "I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family."
According to , Aaron has to stay at least 100 feet away from Nick, Nick's wife and children and other family members.
Aaron first shot to fame at the age of nine following the release of his self-titled debut album, which sold a million copies worldwide.

In September Aaron claimed in a Twitter rant that his late sister Leslie raped him as a child.
He wrote that Leslie, who passed away in 2012, sexually abused him when she wasn't on medication.
Aaron said: "My sister raped me from the age of 10 to 13 years old.
"I have spent the last 15 years of my life going to therapy for abuse and rape, I've been through many different treatments, I have finally found the right treatment.
"I have had my ups and downs, I continue to work on my mental health and i will soon not have to take anything."
