OLIVIA Colman has said Prince William swerves watching Netflix hit The Crown.
The star’s confirmation comes after The Sun told how the Royal Households have become deeply paranoid about the series, particularly its portrayal of Prince Charles’ affair.
The Oscar-winning actress, who plays Queen Elizabeth in the upcoming season three, did acknowledge Wills knew which part she was set to play. Olivia, 45, said: “I met Prince William at a dinner and he asked what I was doing at the moment before he added, ‘Actually, I know what you’re doing’.
“I was so excited and asked, ‘Have you watched it?’ His answer was a firm, ‘No’.”
The Royals are so flustered by The Crown that staff who work for Charles restricted invites to stars of the series, including Olivia and Helena Bonham Carter, from an event involving Charles and sons William and Harry.
But stars from other Netflix shows were asked to the April launch of Netflix series Our Planet starring Sir David Attenborough.

Meanwhile, Olivia also admitted she did nothing to prepare for her new role, other than use a movement coach.
And when asked how she celebrated winning her Best Actress Oscar for The Favourite, she said she was too drunk to remember.
She said on The Graham Norton Show last night: “The great thing about the Oscars is there is a bar. There are hundreds of seat fillers so almost everybody is in the bar getting bladdered.”
