Victoria Beckham sends Adele gift bundle of her designer clothes which stop at size 16 after singer loses 3st in weight
AS ONE of the brightest superstars on the planet, ADELE should have always been at the top of VICTORIA BECKHAM’s freebie list.
But as the London-born singer didn’t quite fit the supermodel mould, she was never the recipient of one of the former SPICE GIRL’s minuscule frocks. Well, that is until she dropped 3st.
I can reveal the singer turned fashion designer now has the Someone Like You star in her sights after Adele turned to Pilates to help get over her marriage split from charity boss Simon Konecki and transformed her body.
A source said: “Victoria is a huge fan of Adele and has always longed to see her in one of her designs.
“Before her team felt it wasn’t viable because Victoria’s range stops at a size 16.
"While Adele’s never addressed her own dress size, it would have been mortifying to send clothes that didn’t fit, so Victoria shied away from sending anything.
“Now Adele has shown off her trim new look and is rocking figure-hugging dresses, Posh is keen to get her dressed in one of her designs.
“She wants Adele to have some freebies ASAP. Victoria recently signed to the agency which looks after Adele too, so the move looks very good on her.
“Having Adele wearing one of her designs during her music comeback will be a massive coup for Victoria’s brand — and a personal highlight.
“To see Adele in one of her outfits would be a dream come true.”
And Victoria’s cash register would probably thank her for it too.
Like most designers, Victoria regularly dresses her famous pals, including BFF Eva Longoria and A-lister Cameron Dia, for red-carpet appearances.
More recently, Posh managed to get Kourtney Kardashian showing off her Reebok gymwear range for her 82million Instagram followers.
And Victoria needs all the help she can get, as figures released last year revealed she was operating at a loss.
Let’s hope for her sake that Adele keeps an eye on her post . . .
I don't want no socks, DJ
DON’T know what to do when it’s too warm for your winter wardrobe but too cold for summer clobber?
Just copy Robbie Williams and style it out with both.
He was snapped in this get-up in London after filming his performance for Michael McIntyre's Big Show on Sunday.
The look included spotty loafers . . . but no socks. That’s one style faux pas I struggle to forgive.

Baccystage rebels
GREEN DAY have broken plenty of records with their music but it is the law they are breaking here – as they spark up in a strictly no-smoking VIP lounge. My photo shows frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt puffing away after the MTV European Music Awards in Seville, Spain, on Sunday.
The country is known for some of the fiercest anti-smoking laws in Europe, with hefty fines if you are caught puffing in enclosed public spaces. But that did not put off Green Day after they won the Best Rock award at the ceremony in the Fibes conference centre, which is repeated on MTV at 9am today.
They even brazenly asked a fan for a lighter. A fellow partygoer said: “Billie Joe and Mike made a beeline for the VIP area straight after the ceremony and were kicking back and relaxing.
“But with no special celebrity smoking area, they decided to light up inside so they didn’t have to mingle with all of the other people out-side. No one could believe it. “It seemed they thought it was fine to just light up there.
“When a fan came up for a photo, they asked for a lighter and just stood there puffing away. They must have known they were not allowed to smoke.”
The band have a world tour and new album planned for next year.Their rider should include a smoking shelter.
THE Brits are known for epic perform- ances and bosses have decided to give us a lot more of what we all want – live music.
The 40th ceremony, at London’s O2 Arena on February 18 next year, will make time for the fun stuff by cutting the categories from 14 to nine.
They’ve canned International Group, Best British Producer, Brits Global Success and the legends’ slot. The last one might be a mistake.
The Outstanding Contribution To Music has honoured the likes of the Spice Girls, Blur, Pink and David Bowie and the show will miss the presence of music royalty.
But there is good news for up-and-comers. The Critics’ Choice gong is renamed the Brit’s Rising Star, with the winner getting to play live.
Forget the statuette, that’s a money-can’t-buy prize.
Liam lingo blunder
OR someone with such a vicious tongue, I thought Liam Gallagher would at least be able to use it properly.
The rocker made a fool of himself while performing at the awards in Spain – by thanking fans in Italian.
He closed the show with Wonderwall and said “grazie” midway through the song, instead of saying “gracias”.
Liam, who picked up the Rock Icon award, appeared to be in a rush to leave as he unplugged his mic and walked off stage before the song had finished. Perhaps he was late for his Spanish lesson . . .

Outfit changes
HALSEY gave the MTV EMAs a high five – changing outfits that many times on the night.
The US singer, who fittingly won the Best Look gong, dazzled in a sheer white frock as she sang her hit track Graveyard but also worked crazy patterned looks and a silver minidress.
In between she slipped into a tracksuit to give an interview after winning her second gong, Best Pop Artist.
She was a busy girl on the night, also presenting the Rock Icon award to Liam Gallagher.
Nicole Scherzinger, who presented Halsey with Best Pop, was not to be outshone as she appeared on stage in a black minidress and thigh-skimming silver boots.
