Katie Price sends mysterious private message to Coleen Rooney as fans try to guess why
KATIE Price has left fans scratching their heads after sending a mysterious message to Coleen Rooney.
Katie, 41, reached out to 33-year-old Coleen on Instagram after the WAG posted a sweet picture to mark her eldest son Kai’s 10th birthday.
Directing Coleen to her private inbox, former glamour model Katie cryptically wrote: “Read your dm’s Coleen.”
She finished the message with a ‘kissing’ emoji.
Coleen has not publicly replied to Katie’s post and, given that there is no explanation as to what is in her private message, fans have been left guessing.
Referring to Katie’s current cash flow crisis, which has seen her teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, one even suggested: “@officialkatieprice you asking to borrow a few quid?”
Although they have never been friends, Katie publicly spoke out in support of Wayne Rooney’s wife last month following the WAGatha Christie scandal, which saw Coleen accuse Rebekah Vardy of leaking fake stories about her.
Coleen claimed she had made up the stories in order to catch a mole, with her insisting Rebekah was the only one to have access to them on Instagram.
Rebekah, who is married to England footballer Jamie Vardy, has denied any involvement and vowed to clear her name, but this didn’t stop Katie playing judge.
In a YouTube video, Katie said: “I’ve met Coleen at an event, she seems really nice. And I’ve met Rebekah Vardy a few times. I’m just saying – not that I’m taking sides on anything – Coleen seems a bit like me.
“You don’t say stuff unless you have evidence.”
Katie goes on to say she reckons Coleen was right to name pregnant Becky on Instagram, adding: “Anyone I’ve outed… if they’ve really tried to damage me, of course I’m going to out them.
“Name and shame them. Put their name out there, pictures the whole lot. Absolutely.”
Meanwhile, on Sunday Katie shared a cute video of her son Jett singing a version of Old Town Road online.
In the video she is heard asking six-year-old Jett what he wants to do and he replies: “Go on stage so we can get some money and get some stuff.”
Katie shares daughter Bunny, five, and Jett with ex husband Kieran, and she is also mum to Harvey, 17, from her relationship with Dwight Yorke and Junior, 14, and Princess, 12 from her marriage to Peter Andre.
