JACQUELINE Jossa and Dan Osborne are hoping her appearance on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here will save their marriage.
The pair, who’ve been rocked by cheating accusations since marrying in June 2017, are hoping that the six week break will bring them closer together – just like when Dan went into Celebrity Big Brother.
“Jacqueline was worried about signing up to the jungle but Dan told her to go for it,” says a friend.
“They actually think that being apart while she’s on the show will mean they’re closer than ever when she comes back to the UK – absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that.
“Jacqueline will miss the kids so much when she’s away but it’s an amazing opportunity and a challenge she really wants to take on.”
Former EastEnders star Jacqueline has two kids with Dan – Mia, 1, and Ella, 4, and is stepmum to his son from a previous relationship, Teddy.
Since marrying in 2017, they’ve been rocked by cheating accusations. They split in 2018 after a series of rows over Dan working away from home on a fitness camp with Love Island’s Gabby Allen.
Dan later went into the Big Brother house with Gabby – but both denied anything happened between them.
Dan later revealed his stay in CBB ‘saved his marriage’ to Jacqueline, saying: "Our relationship is better now than it’s ever been.
"Since getting back together, it feels like we’re stronger and we appreciate each other so much more.
"In a way we have a lot to thank CBB for, because the time apart made us realise what we were both missing.
"Being in the CBB house made me appreciate what we have and it made me realise how much I wanted things to work out between us."

In March last year, The Sun revealed the couple were sleeping in separate bedrooms after Dan was accused of kissing another Love Island star, Alexandra Crane, on a night out.
However, they insist they’re still together and were recently spotted kissing at the opening of her performing arts school.
Dan and Jacqueline’s reps have been approached for comment.
