Candid pics of the Rolling Stones on tour taken by Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife Jo show reality of rock ’n’ roll lifestyle

THEY are the Stone poses – the private side of the world’s greatest rock band, as pictured by one of their inner circle.

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife Jo took the intimate snaps over 30 years of travelling the world with the band.

'I always perched backstage, ready for any event. The picture is a real favourite of mine,' says Jo

Her shots show the reality of the rock ’n’ roll lifestyle, from sell-out shows and all-night parties to holidays and family time away from it all.

Now Jo, who was married to Ronnie from 1985 to 2009, has published a book of her shots and says: “They show the band off guard, without having to worry that it was another photo shoot.

“It’s about real life, on the road with a bunch of guys who happened to be in a fantastic band, all too often in the public gaze but away from it as well.”

Today Jo shares some of her favourite snaps with The Sun.
