Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery finds love with Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s brother four years after fiancé died of cancer
MICHELLE Dockery has found love with Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s brother – four years after her fiancé tragically died of cancer.
According to the, the 37-year-old Downton Abbey actress has been dating Jasper, 31, for three months and has already appeared on the red carpet with him.
She is said to have met the creative director through mutual friends and is also believed to be pals with Fleabag creator Phoebe.
A source told the publication: “It was all taken slowly and in a considered manner but they are really enjoying being together.
“Michelle has been travelling a lot to promote the Downton movie but they have been in constant contact. Their friends and families are very happy for them. It is just so lovely.
“Jasper is a bit younger than Michelle but he has dated other older women in the past and it appears to be working for both of them. Michelle remains a very down-to-earth woman, dating an A-lister has never been her thing.”

Michelle – who is best known for playing Lady Mary Crawly in Downton – was left heartbroken when her fiancé John Dineen passed away from a rare form of cancer in 2015.
Michelle described John as "my friend, my king, my hero, my everything" when she gave the eulogy at his funeral in Cork in December 2015.
She then sang his favourite song - The Folks Who Live on the Hill - from the altar which was lined with some of his favourite items, including a childhood cuddly toy monkey and a rugby shirt and tie.
In 2017 she revealed that she thought of herself as a widow, telling the Guardian: "Oh, I refer to myself as a widow, yes.
"We were engaged, and married at heart, and so I do consider myself a widow."
