AMERICAN Horror Story’s Sarah Paulson has revealed plans for an epic return to show as a space-age vampire.
The 44-year-old actress has appeared in every series of the anthology series apart from the one currently airing, 1984.
Sarah is a regular collaborator with AHS creator Ryan Murphy, and while she's sitting this latest series out, she isn't against returning in the future.
Speaking to Variety, she said: "I think the star of American Horror Story is American Horror Story itself.
"The show is the thing and I think you can get a whole different group of actors and people will still watch it.
"I think that's the extraordinary thing that Ryan created, and I would love to be a part of it.
"One time, I said I'd like it be to vampires in space when I'm 99 and I hope the show is still going then."
Ryan recently opened up about how hard it was to get the first series of American Horror Story, Murder House, on screen ahead of its 2011 debut.
Sarah seconded his sentiments, admitting there was a "real resistance at first", adding: "I think audiences freaked out."
The series has seen a number of actors return in different roles including Evan Peters and Jessica Lange.

Sarah continued: "[The viewers] had become really attached to the characters that they loved, and they didn't want to see those same actors playing different people.
"Then very quickly, they started to get into it, and I think they loved to see what their favourite actors were going to be doing next year."
Ryan recently revealed season 10 was the last to be commissioned, but he hoped to continue making the show beyond that.
American Horror Story airs on Wednesdays on FX in the US and can be seen on Fox and NOW TV in the UK.
