And in tomorrow night's bonus episode of Coronation Street, fans will see the young mum reach the end of the road as Dr. Gaddas breaks the news to her that she is too weak to travel to the hospice.

Sinead then explains to a stunned Daniel that she might not make the journey, leaving him utterly bereft.

In tonight’s episode, we catch up with Sinead who wakes up remembering her row with Daniel (Rob Mallard) over his kiss with Bethany Platt.

Then, with the help of her auntie Beth, Sinead records some videos for baby Bertie on Daniel’s laptop, determined that he should know how much she loved him.

Tracy Barlow later calls at the flat and tells Sinead that Bertie is going to need his dad when she’s gone - reminding her that he loves them both with all his heart.

Tracy’s words resonate with Sinead and, when Daniel returns home, he’s told that she wants to see him.

Sinead talks candidly with Daniel about her death and tells him that she needs to know she can trust him and that he’ll be there for their son when she’s gone.

The next day, Sinead urges Daniel to stop punishing himself over the kiss, telling him she has forgiven him.

Vicar Billy Mayhew then stops by and Sinead starts making plans with him for her funeral.

Friday night's episode's closing sees Sinead and Daniel struggling with the realisation that it’s time for her to start saying her goodbyes.

Sinead is seen waking up one last time to her family gathered around her bed, before asking them to leave so that she can be alone with Daniel.

With everyone gone, she affectionately squeezes Daniel’s hand, aware her time is running out.

She then passes away peacefully with her husband and son on the bed.

Daniel lays down next to Sinead and breaks down as he realises he and Bertie will have to get used to life without her.
