SCARLETT Moffatt says she was told by an African tribe: "We wish we had your rolls of fat."
The 29-year-old former Googlebox and I'm A Celeb star was on This Morning speaking about her new show The British Tribe Next Door, which airs tonight.
Talking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about living with the Himba people in Namibia, she said: "I just felt no judgement at all.
"This sounds really offensive, but they actually said: 'Ah, we wish we had your rolls of fat.'
"If any of my friends at home said that, I would be really offended.
"But they said: 'You look strong' and 'it looks like your dad's cattle are healthy'. I never have felt so not judged and happy to be in my own skin."
Talking about how the tribe had never used a mirror, she added: "A lot of my day is consumed with how I look.
"You see your reflection and you look at it - and it's just not a thing there.
"We showed them a mirror and the most amazing thing is, they all said they looked beautiful. That was so touching.
"The chief did say: 'Who's that old man?' We did have to explain that was him."
Channel 4's The British Tribe Next Door sees Scarlett's mum and dad's suburban house rebuilt in Namibia in the middle of the home of the Himba tribe.
She added: "We went there in May. We're still having more meals together. Even on shows I'm getting the tops of my arms out now. It's a big step."
