Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway will star in this year’s I’m A Celebrity
GOOD Morning Britain host Kate Garraway has signed up for I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! — a year after pulling out weeks before the start.
The 52-year-old has committed to the ITV series, which begins next month, and has booked the time off work.
She had been in talks to enter last year but turned down a big-money offer because of her hectic schedule.
But the telly anchor has now agreed to enter the show and will fly out to Australia in the coming weeks.
Kate, who has been an ITV morning regular for almost 20 years, previously said her children Darcey, 13, and William, ten, were desperate for her to take part.
Speaking in March, she explained: “I think it’s completely terrifying but it’s also a brilliant show to watch, so I don’t know.
“My kids would love me to do it, I don’t know what that says.”
But she admitted taking part in the show seemed like “torture.”
She said: “People keep saying I’d be good in there and basically what that means is you want to see me tortured.
“Like really close friends say, ‘Oh you’d be amazing, I really want you to do it.’ And it’s like, ‘What have I done to you?’

“Does anybody want to go through that torture, I don’t know?’
A representative for Kate declined to comment.
EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, 26, footie pundit Ian Wright, 55, and rugby player James Haskell, 34, are also in talks to compete Down Under.
