Coronation Street spoilers for next week including Sinead’s tragic death and Daniel’s infidelity
CORONATION Street's Sinead Tinker prepares to say a heartbreaking goodbye to the Cobbles as she spends her final days with family and friends before tragically losing her battle with cancer.
But the young mum's death is anything but peaceful as husband Daniel betrays her in the worst way possible in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap.
- Christmas comes early for Sinead
Kirk, Beth and Craig all arrive in festive jumpers and Daniel is perturbed when they tell him they’ve arranged an early Christmas for Sinead, knowing that she won't make it for the official day in December.
And although he tells them she’s far too sick for that, Sinead is more than keen to celebrate with her family.
But viewers will see tensions rise as they all sit down to dinner and a heartbroken Daniel ends up storming out.
- Daniel betrays Sinead
Bethany finds a distraught Daniel in the ginnel and tries to comfort him before the close friends end up kissing.
At the worst possible time, Ken finds them in each other’s arms and furiously demands that Daniel goes home to his dying wife.
A tearful Bethany flees.
- Sinead finds Bethany’s story about Daniel
At the flat, Sinead realises that Bethany has left her notebook there and begins to read the short story.
She quickly realises that it’s about her feelings for her husband and when Daniel returns home, Sinead questions him about his friend's feelings for him.
- Daniel makes a devastating confession
A guilty Daniel tells Sinead that he kissed Bethany but it meant nothing.
Sinead is left devastated and an angry Craig kicks Daniel out of the flat.
- Daniel hits rock bottom
Daniel hits the bottle and is found drunk and miserable in the ginnel by his uncle Adam Barlow.
With Daniel clearly in self-destruct mode, Adam turns to Ken, Peter and Carla - confessing he’s worried about his state of mind.
- Sinead passes away
The next day Sinead wakes up upset to find Daniel not there, as she painfully remembers their argument from the day before.
But with Beth’s help she records some messages for their son Bertie so he knows how much she loved him.
Later, after some words of wisdom from Tracy, Sinead and Daniel reunite, knowing that the end is drawing near.
And when the couple are alone together, Sinead passes away in her husband's arms.

- A riot breaks out in prison
David Platt is worried when a riot breaks out in his prison and heads to his cell as his family watch the events unfold on the news, feeling helpless.
Meanwhile, David is left stunned when his fellow prison mate Abe brings his rapist Josh into his cell and hands him a pair of scissors, telling him to do his worst.
- Josh is stabbed
A panicked David calls Shona telling her that she needs to find him a lawyer because Josh has been stabbed.
Shona asks David if he did it but he’s adamant that he didn’t. So who do we believe?
- A video leaves David crushed
Max shows Shona a video he’s been sent of the riot with Josh being stabbed.
And she’s horrified to see David near Josh at the scene of the crime.
Legal eagle Imran then arrives at the prison and tells David about the video and how bad it looks.
- Gail returns
Gail finally returns from Thailand just in time to find Bethany being verbally attacked after her kiss with Daniel.
What will Gail make of everything else that’s going on in her family?
