Who is Emma Weymouth's husband Ceawlin Thynn?

Ceawlin is the second child of Alexander Thynn, the 7th Marquess of Bath, also known as Lord Bath.

Emma will become the first black marchioness in British history when her husband inherits his father's title and becomes the 8th Marquess of Bath.

A marquess is a title of nobility that ranks between a duke and an earl.

Ceawlin studied Economics and Philosophy at University College London before he began his career as a marketing specialist at London investment back, Caspian Securities.

Since then he has been involved in companies catering to the leisure, tourism, financial services and real estate sectors.

Ceawlin and his father are trustees of the Longleat Charitable Trust, and he is heir to Longleat Estate (which you might recognise from Animal Park) which is home to the first safari park outside of Africa.

He married Emma in 2013, and the pair share two sons who live with them on the historic estate.

They had their first child, The Honourable John Alexander Ladi Thynn, in October 2014.

And their second, The Honourable Henry Richard Isaac Thynn, was delivered via a surrogate in December 2016.

Did Ceawlin Thynn kick off backstage at Strictly Come Dancing?

The Sun reported that Viscount Weymouth erupted in fury when his wife was in the dance-off on October 12, 2019.

Sources said the aristocrat had to be calmed down backstage where he was having drinks with pals.

Onlookers told how the businessman became agitated while watching the show on a TV monitor.

One explained: “He was hopping mad — it made a real scene. Everyone had had a few drinks so the volume levels were high.

When Emma joined him she seemed to be desperately trying to calm him down. It was rather awkward.”

Sources close to the viscount said his anger on Saturday night was triggered by a fault with the TV feed.

What is Ceawlin Thynn's net worth?

In January 2009, Thynn became chairman of Longleat Enterprises.

It is a limited company which runs Longleat House and Safari Park on the family estate of Longleat in Wiltshire, as well as the commercial activities at Cheddar Gorge, in Somerset.

His net worth is currently unknown but he is set to inherit some fortunes from his father on top of his own wealth.

His father was ranked 359th in the Sunday Times Rich List 2009 with an estimated wealth of £157 million.
