JOE Sugg has said his girlfriend Dianne Buswell is “not OK” after she and Dev Griffin were booted off Strictly this weekend amid a fix row.
The YouTuber, 28, who has been dating the pro dancer since meeting on the BBC dance show last year, admitted he too was in “massive shock” over the results.
On Sunday evening Dianne and Dev lost their place on the show after going head to head with Viscountess Weymouth and Aljaz Skorjanec in the dance off.
All the judges opted to save the viscountess in a shock decision, which left those watching at home furious.
When asked if the Aussie dancer was OK, during an appearance on the Lorraine show today, he replied: “No, not really, no.
“I really don't think it should have been them to go.
"I think they had so much potential. He was an amazing student. It doesn't seem..."
Unable to find the words he added: “Weird.”
Quizzed about what happened, he replied: "Good question. What did happen? I think like the rest of the country right now I'm in massive shock. Absolutely gutted for Dev and Dianne.”
Dev and Dianne were scored 27 out of 40 for their Cha Cha Cha by the judges, leaving them tenth out of 13.
The score combined with the public vote meant they had to face the dance off.
The news came as a real shock for those at home after their performance the week before saw them get 36 out of 40 points.
Fans later branded it a “fix” as they claimed they were unable to vote for Dev because the phone line wasn’t working.
Aussie professional Dianne even responded to one fan alerting bosses to the problems on Twitter — but later deleted her reply.
Fan Kirsty Powers, from South Wales, said: "The voting phone line ain’t working for Dev and Dianne!!!! Works for some and not for others!!! Strictly sort it out!"
Dianne retweeted the post with a sad face emoji on Saturday evening, minutes after the elimination was recorded.
Strictly bosses had tweeted the same night: "There’s a high volume of calls, so if you don’t get through first time keep trying! And remember you can vote online."
