EastEnders spoilers: Whitney Dean and Callum Highway have an emotional heart-to-heart after Leo King’s big surprise
HEARTBROKEN Whitney Dean and former fiancé Callum Highway are set to reconnect in EastEnders this week as they end up having an emotional heart-to-heart.
In tonight’s episode of the BBC One soap creepy Leo King asks the unlucky in love Whit out for a drink, but she soon changes her mind when she sees Callum in the café.
Tomorrow sees Whitney agree to meet Leo in The Vic for a drink.
Later, Whit also decides that Tiffany can meet Leo, but is side-swiped when her sister reveals she already knows him.
While Whit is confused, Leo is frustrated that his evil plans may be scuppered.
And when Tiff puts doubt in Whit’s mind over Leo’s motives, the sisters end up exchanging some harsh words.
At the end of the week, viewers will see Leo surprise Whitney at the E20 where he tries to build favour with her by defending Tiff’s actions.
When he suggests they go back to his, Whitney is adamant they stay as Callum walks in with his new love interest Ben Mitchell.
A confused Whitney ends up getting very drunk and confesses to Leo that she’s jealous of Tiff.
Soon Callum checks in on her and the pair have an emotional chat before Whitney leaves and runs into his brother, Stuart, who she also has a heartfelt chat with.
Last month it was revealed that Whitney is set to face more heartbreak after being targeted by Leo, the son of her former sexual abuser, Tony King.
Leo is trying to get revenge after his paedo dad's mum gave Whitney and her family money as a way to make up for what Tony did.
He groomed and abused her in a hard-hitting storyline that saw his then partner Bianca Jackson broken by what she had unknowingly overlooked in her own home.
Bianca was also unaware that Tony had a son until he recently sought her out.
But it became clear to viewers that the pair have had a previous run-in, as Leo goaded her about attacking him and her recent spell in prison.
Although seemingly charming, Bianca knows Leo is desperate to clear his father’s name - convinced he was innocent.
Tony later killed himself in prison out of shame for his crimes and when Leo learnt his grandparents gave Bianca money after everything that happened, he became determined to get back what he thinks is rightfully his.
Tom Wells has joined the cast of EastEnders to take on the role of Leo King.
No stranger to television, the actor has previously starred in Doctors and Bancroft.
He said in a statement: "I’m really excited to be joining the EastEnders team and seeing what’s in store for Leo.

"He's definitely a man not to be trusted and I can’t wait to see him settle into Walford, it’s going to be fun.”
Jon Sen, the show's executive producer added: "Bianca’s return sparks a gripping new story with the arrival of Leo King – a dark and misguided figure who has grown up with the stigma of being the son of a convicted paedophile.
"We are thrilled to welcome Tom to the Square, knowing he will bring depth and complexity to the role of Leo, a man who believes his father has been wronged and who will also go to great lengths to prove it."
