Bella Thorne wins Pornhub award for adult movie Her & Him after Disney star’s directorial debut hits the spot
FORMER Disney star Bella Thorne has bagged a prize at the annual Pornhub Awards.
The 22-year-old, who previously starred in the Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, released her first raunchy film, Her & Him, with the help of the porn website last month.
Attending the award ceremony on Friday night, Bella picked up the Vision Award for her directorial work on the movie.
According to the BDSM-themed flick’s synopsis, the story revolves around an “edgy twenty-something guy who stumbles upon a surprise text in his girlfriend's phone, interrupting their morning routine and spinning everything into an out-of-control sexually charged encounter".
The X-rated flick was previewed at the Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany last month and is now available on the premium section of Porhub's site.
Earlier this year, the Florida-born actress explained in a promo video that her original vision was for the film to be a "Christmas horror movie," only to switch things up and go for a pornographic movie inspired by Romeo and Juliet instead.
As well as adult film actors Abella Danger and Small Hands, Her & Him also features music from Bella's ex-boyfriend, rapper Mod Sun.
Speaking to LadBible recently, Bella opened up about overseeing the process of shooting such raunchy scenes.
She said: ""Well, the process of shooting was quite interesting because we had real-life f*****g on set, which I have never shot before.
"Also this was my first short in general, so it was quite an interesting experience to have the first thing that I really fully directed have so much sex in it.
"It is quite a fun environment."
Thorne has been acting since she was 6 years old, but it was as a 13-year-old that she made her breakthrough alongside Zendaya on Shake It Up.
She went on to star in TV series Dirty Sexy Money and films including Amityville and Midnight Sun.
During her career, Thorne has also appeared as a model in more than 30 commercials, as well as in music videos for the likes of Liam Payne and Logan Paul.
In July 2019, hackers reportedly stole topless photos of Thorne, resulting in the former Disney star posting the images on social media herself.
The American actress previously dated Kourtney Kardashian's ex, Scott Disick.
