DANNY Dyer looked unimpressed when he heard comedian Mo Gilligan had slammed his acting skills in old posts on Twitter.
The actor, who plays EastEnders hardman Mick Carter, was left red-faced when he appeared on The Jonathan Ross show last night.
Jonathan Ross's producers had certainly done their research before they invited comic Mo and the EastEnders legend on for a chat.
It seemed they had trawled through Mo's twitter and found posts from 2014 which saw The Lateish Show host describe Danny as: "A shockingly bad actor."
And after a friendly chat with Jonathan on his sofa, the cheeky presenter pulled his trump card and asked Mo: "Danny has been on your show hasn't he? Are you a big fan of Danny?"
And Mo looked confused as he remarked: "Yeah always. I'm a big fan of Danny. Football Factory days and all that. I went into school looking to headbutt teachers man."
But Jonathan quipped: "Well I'm not trying to create some beef here but I want you to explain this tweet from 2014."
Fellow guest Roisin Conaty sighed and said: "Oh god" as Mo nervously laughed and replied: "What's this?"
Jonathan continued: "So 2014, where were you in your life?"
And Mo replied: "I was most probably working in retail, but I feel like I might have wrote this at midnight. You know when you are tired, you got no food, living off toast and butter. And just stressed."
But Danny interrupted and said: "Go on what is this. Give it to me."
The tweets flashed up on screen and Danny looked taken aback but shouted: "Christmas Day! Christmas Day!
He added after Mo claimed he'd been set up: "It's alright I'll wear it."
And Mo did an impression of Danny as he said: "It's Christmas Day and someone's about to die and you're like (in gruff voice) 'Don't die and I'll knock you out.'"

The actor, 42 said: "I went to a yoga retreat last weekend... I do it with my missues. She got me into it.
"Brikram, I started with, 90 minutes in the heat. It was proper hard but I've got a nutty brain so I need to calm it down a bit.
"I do a bit of meditation and it sort of turns the nuttiness down a bit. I think everyone should do a bit of meditation, ten minutes a day, I think it's an important thing. Yoga is a form of meditation in a sense."
"My favourite yoga is Yin Yoga, you just lay on your back. You lay on your mat and you hold your pose for five minutes."
Danny then tried to show the audience and the chat show host the "Dead Frog" pose.
