KELVIN Fletcher and Oti Mabuse made Strictly Come Dancing history earlier this evening, when their week three dance received TWO 10s from the judges.

The stars were left floored when Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli awarded them a full 10/10 for the Movie Week Charleston.

Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood knocked one point from their scores, giving nine marks each - meaning that Oti and Kelvin received an overall 38/40 - shooting to the top of the leader-board.

The pair had performed the energetic routine to Trip A Little Light Fantastic from 2018 film Mary Poppins Returns.

They received high praise from the judges, with Shirley gushing: "You made a difficult routine look really easy on the eye and that's what you want.

"The very, very highest level, it was absolutely superb."

Bruno added: "Everyone's talking about Kelvin and for good reason!

"That was as good as anything I've seen on the West End stage or on Broadway."

Giving her mark moments later, Shirley exclaimed that it is "never too early" to award full marks.

Kelvin and Oti were left open-mouthed by her decision, and when Bruno did the same the pair could not contain their excitement.

Both stars were embraced by the rest of the Strictly cast, who erupted into celebratory cheers at the landmark moment.

While 10s have been awarded in week three in the past, this is the first time that a pair have received two 10s - and the high score of 38 - so early on in the series.

Most viewers agreed with the scores at home, flocking to Twitter to share their response to the impressive moment.

However, others recalled the judges refusing to give 2015 champion Jay McGuinness full marks for his show-stopping Pulp Fiction-inspired Jive because it was "too soon in the series".
