Engineer spots Ed Sheeran’s face on a MALTESER and promises to never eat it

MALTESER geezer Ed Sheeran will no doubt have a meltdown at this specimen — which looks uncannily like him.

The spitting image of the star, who loves to stuff Maltesers in his gob, was discovered in a packet in Stockton-on-Tees.

Engineer Karl Thomas, 43, almost wolfed it down as he snacked at his desk. He said: “It was the very last one in the packet.

"I normally just shovel them in without looking but the blemish caught my eye.

“The way the chocolate has melted a little bit makes it look ginger. I don’t want to eat it now.”

Shape of You singer Sheeran holds the Carpool Karaoke record for stuffing 55 Maltesers in his mouth on the show in 2017.

He previously admitted to fitting 47 in his mush during a prank.
